Born to a family of silk crepe manufacturers in Kyoto Japan, Takazura immersed himself in the world of “Yuzen”, one of the most technical of techniques using brushes to design patterns and designs on Japanese kimonos since 1994.Originally versed in traditional techniques, Takazura takes inspiration from the universe and the colors of nature initiating his evolution into the styles and techniques now ever-present in his works.
The “Takakurazome” brand is used as a railway to share with his art and fashion to everyone around the world. Exhibitions, live events and workshops are held regularly within Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, and Taiwan, to name a few.
The dream to collaborate with famous designers has come to light recently as it is worn by musicians, and sold in high-end fashionistas and popular amongst creators.
